Start with a nomination list
Coaches review students who are eligible to grade. Eligibility is calculated automatically from attendance history — no manual counting. Nominate with one tap; students are added to the grading event.
Record results on the day
Mark each student as passed or failed during or after the examination. Add examiner notes per student. Results are saved against the student’s profile immediately.
Ranks update automatically on a pass
When a result is recorded as a pass, the student’s rank advances to the next grade in the ladder. No manual update to the profile. The rank ladder, grade badge, and student portal all reflect the new grade straight away.
One workflow, five disciplines
Grading works the same way across Karate, Judo, Jujitsu, Aikido, and Kendo. Each discipline uses its own rank ladder — the BJA’s 18-Mon junior structure for Judo, the Jitsu Foundation’s Mon tab system for Jujitsu, and so on. The workflow doesn’t change; the grades do.
