Five disciplines, day one
Club Forge ships with the actual rank ladders of the major UK governing bodies. No setup, no configuration spreadsheet, no ‘build your own grading scheme.’
- Configurable
Karate
Configurable rank ladders for any style — Shotokan, Wado, Goju, Shito, Kyokushin and beyond. Defaults are sensible; everything is editable.
- British Judo Association
Judo
BJA grades pre-loaded, including the full 18-Mon junior structure used by clubs across the UK.
- The Jitsu Foundation
Jujitsu
Jitsu Foundation grades built in, with Mon tabs handled correctly at 7th and 6th Kyu.
- British Aikido Association
Aikido
BAA grades pre-loaded, kyu through dan. Configurable for clubs in Aikikai, Iwama, and other lineages.
- Rank, no belt
Kendo
Rank tracking that respects kendo's no-belt-colour convention. Kyu and dan numbers, not coloured belts.
Run multiple disciplines from one platform
Some clubs teach two or three disciplines under one roof — a karate dojo with a Saturday judo programme, a jujitsu club that runs an aikido class on Sundays. Club Forge handles multi-discipline clubs natively.
Each member can hold rank in multiple disciplines. Each discipline keeps its own grading history, time-in-grade, and progression separate from the others.
Configurable, but not from scratch
Admins can edit grade names, belt colours, and time-in-grade requirements for each discipline. Defaults are sensible — the kind of rank ladder a working dojo would actually use — and customisation is for genuine edge cases, not a forced setup ritual.
Membership and check-in are shared across all five disciplines.
